Year 6 Christmas Song

No excuses for not learning the words now or saying my dog ate the sheet!

It’s not about the presents ( but we like those very much)
It’s not about the turkey ( ‘tho it adds a special touch!)
It’s not about the shopping ( believe us that’s not right)
It’s all about a special feeling makes us feel just right

Share the Christmas spirit with all the world today
Show that peace and love can make the sadness go away,
Share the Christmas spirit with your neighbours and your friends,
Thanks to you we know the Christmas spirit never ends.

You can’t beat the Christmas feeling when youre sitting by the tree
Surrounded by the loving of all the family
Share that special feeling with people round the world
To make a happy heart for every boy and girl.

Share the Christmas spirit - - - -

Not everyone’s so lucky not like you and me,
Not everyone has presents and a turkey and a tree,
Not everyone has care and love or somewhere warm to live,
We’re thankful that we’re in this place and glad that we can give.

Kirra says,
I have an excuse NOT to have the sheet, because I was sick yesterday. (Throwing up), probably won't make it into school again until Tuesday or Wednesday. AT THE EARLIEST. I will try and go on my computer and check on the blog every now and then, to see if I can memorize the song. But if I don't, I have an excuse! Thanks!

hi it's tanis and rhys here is our christmas song.

Every year the seasons change
The world awakes in Spring
Tiny creatures in earthly nests
Reappear from their winter rest
In the fields where yellow primroses cover the ground
We watch the lambs at play
When the Springtime comes around

In the giant's garden it was cold as ice
In the giant's garden it wasn't very nice
Frost had found a home there; sparkled all year round
Snow had made a great white cloak
And laid it on the ground
The wind it howled the thunder roaded
The rain rattled down,it poured and poured
And every day the wind would blow
So how could any flower grow when Winter wouldn't go

Chorus

Autumn brings us many gifts
When green leafs turn to gold
Every year from a tiny shoot
Comes the blossom and then the fruit
Trees and hedgerows grow with apples and berries galore
We'll bring a harvest in and prepare a harvest store.

Chorus

Every changing season brings
The weather that we need
Rain to water the seeds will sow
Sun to ripen them, make them grow
Summer sunshine we prefer to the autumnal rain
Winter brings frost and snow
And then Spring returns again.
